I have basically two modes:
1: HAMMOCK
>DD ¥ungle hammock
>Snugpak underquilt
>bugscreen unless it's legit winter
>fitted under tarp over the quilt to windbreak and keep the quilt dry
>fitted over tarp if I'm expecting wind or weather
2: BACK OF THE TRUCK
>fitted truck bed inflatable mattress
>massive double size Coleman -12ºC/10ºF sleebin bag
>foam inserts to black out the windows
>overhead candle lantern for comfies
I don't have a preference, these are for totally different outings and I love them both. Being in the hammock while it's snowing out is godly, being in the back of the truck when it's thundering rain and gale force winds is godly.
