Seac stuff is kind of meh tier.
For a suit just get a Mako. Their gear is budget/entry level, but their suits are pretty good. I'm on season 3 with my 5mm almost exclusively shore diving the reefs in La Jolla. For booties, get Argos, gloves, I don't really have a preference. Get a plain J snorkel, and buy a low volume mask in person, fit varies person to person. Gun, get a 110-120 Rob Allen or Pathos, if I were to start out again the one piece of starting gear I wouldn't skimp on is the gun. Get the grey Cressi plastic fins. Get a rubber weight belt and always dive with at least one knife, GR Tarr at Red Tide Spearfishing makes a relatively cheap really good knife. Get a dive computer if you can, or at least a real dive watch, I think Casio has a $40 one, watching your dive intervals (at least 2x your dive time) pays off with safety/your bottom time.
