When my cats get too spazzy i usually take them for walks in the forest. By themselves they keep inside their territory but when they're with me they enjoy exploring.
They do not like open spaces and will try to move around them. They do not want to trespass into other cats territories. Other than that, they go where i go.
If i sit still, they get bored after a while and start exploring on my own. This is bad because if they lose me, they will try to head home and more often than not get totally lost in the process.
