When it comes to /out/ activities, I’d like for anons to have a little more than their local REI “wilderness first aid” class but you are correct: it takes disincline and training to make a good lifesaver but some people have a better starting point than others.
I’m still going to carry a little IFAK like an autist, though. It’s like my security blanket and after having had to use it stateside I’m terrified I’m going to be caught lacking.
