The entire western side of Washington and Oregon is basically one giant evergreen forest. There are mountains everywhere as well as volcanoes and ghost towns and caves and meadows, etc. It always snows buckets in the Cascades.
As far as /pol/ stuff goes, many people think of moving to Idaho or Montana but those states are pretty dry and don't have the resources to support large populations. Things aren't nearly as bad as you might think outside of the major population centers in western Oregon and Washington. Something to think about.
