The holiest place on earth.
Zions Canyon
Its not a monument to god, its a monument to nature. There are tons of species that inhabit the canyon and surrounding park. The soil is fertile enough to grow just about anything. The water comes from the mountains and the rain. The unique geography if the park means it gets flash floods several times a year that do kill idiot tourists that don't need the warnings but that also brings rich sediment down off the mountain to feed the plants along the river.
I've lived in its shadow mist of my life and there's no place else in the world that compares. Grand Canyon? Pssh that boring scar? Bryce? Its a hell of a place to lose a cow but also quite dead at the bottoms.
