Anybody know if this is a good book for getting into farming? My current plan is this: buy a small homestead of 10 or so acers, continue working my day job while symaltaniously attempting to maintain a small farm growing cash crops like herbs and salad greens. Then from there I would allow the farm to grow to a point there I can sustain myself with it and expand into other crops and livestock. Is this a realistic goal? Also if anybody can recommend me any information resources be that books or internet that you found helpful I'd be obliged
