These little tac lites they sell everywhere have done me good as well. Runs off 3xAAAs or you can stick an 18650 in there.
Best route is to add a few of the random different Amazon sellers to your wishlist, wait until they go on sale for Prime Days or whatever, get 2 for $12, go to Walmart and find their bin of Onn power banks and grab the $10 one (6700mAh I believe). Pop the power bank open and you get 2x 20650 cells (3350mAh) that fit perfectly inside the flashlight, and use the USB board to recharge the cells.
