Thoughts on this backpack?

1. There are no useful sewn on loops at the back to which I can attach the hook of a bungee cord to tie something on top of the backpack.
2. The back of the backpack has some kind of hard straight plate along it, which is useful I guess but I would prefer to have the entire pack fitting snugly against my back rather than just pressing hard against top of my back.
