>>2425402I won't lie, I'm fairly disappointed with my smatchet. It seemed like such a nice idea, but the only time I ever really use it is when butchering and trapping. Does a good job killing chickens and hacking light brush but otherwise it is a little too akward for most things while being a little bit underpowered for heavy use. Got it as a gift years ago and it's really only been useful maybe 10 times since I got it. Would probably take it over any other knife I own or an axe if I had to go permanently innawoods with only one tool, but when would that ever happen.
