Have to limit the number of people there somehow or the entire place will be covered in literal shit, if reservations are free then you do have to actually book them out 10 years in advance and lotteries are also gay.
There are plenty of other less crowded parks and NF/BLM land to use that don't need to use such techniques for the poor to access.
