OP here. Preppers tend to watch disaster movies to prove their point and for clues. Only movies are so unrealistic and made for pure entertainment you get wrong impression on everything. What I tend to do, watch youtubers for entertainment and read articles for knowledge. Solid, research and experience based knowledge. Those government publications are always bit quirky but it's a good start
