Last night I did my coldest weather camping so far. Got down to °15F and 70% humidity. One other time I did it with a low of 22°F. I woke with my feet/toes very cold on the 22° night. But last night I woke with my toes numb from being so damn cold, almost painful. I have a cheap magellan brand 20° mummy bag. The rest of my body was perfectly warm, very warm in fact. Shortly before going to sleep I put on clean thick wool blend socks, some 100% synthetic socks on top, and put slippers on too. And i had synthetic fleece blanket doubled up wrapped around my feet inside the bag.
Wtf, any suggestions? Think it's just the way my body is?
