>>1995124Yeah the winter kinda sucks, but it also coincided with a good point in my job to take a break. And the eastern Sierra is just my home base as I have a grandmother who lives there. I’ve been bouncing back and forth between her place and the back of my truck on short trips (2 days-2 weeks). It works out nice to have a quick break to shower and refuel. Done Tahoe, a few climbing trips in the Owens valley, and a Utah trip. Definitely worth it but it’s a thing I’ve been planning for a bit and saving up for, not a spur of the moment thing.
