>>2347901Because my tomato plants were stacked on top of each other, each plant was halfway tangled with the one next to it creating a canopy so dense no light could reach the inner branches. Airflow was horrible even with heavy pruning underneath. The worst part was that because of how my yard is, I can only access them from the front. picking the tomatoes was near impossible, but because these were determinate tomatoes (roma) I just cut the entire plant and shook them until all the tomatoes fell off. I grew no tomatoes but roma because I hate myself. I must have lost 25% of the harvest because they were over/under ripe. Even then I still got pic related, my sink is 10 inches deep and 30x16 inches on the counter. I'm never growing roma again.
