>>1552030This is from a cookbook called Cooking Alaskan by Alaskans, it's simple but delicious. The book has recipes for everything, I recommend it. I know the guys from meateater put out a couple of cookbooks as well and even some episodes of their show. Honestly I've had really good luck finding wild game cookbooks at thrift stores. Also a lot of generic recipes for chicken, beef or store bought fish can be easily worked into wild game recipes. So if you're Dad has a family famous spaghetti sauce try it with some venison, or use grandmas secret pie crust to make some squirrel pot pie. Get creative.
