https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OnwfT2tQ1zU I pre-tie the knots and atach the rope to my tarp before packing it up so once I take it out all I have to do is set it up, there is not much actual rope tying involed. The only time I have to tie another knot is if I am ataching my tarp to trees in which case its 1 more knot for each tree. In the bottom pic every single knot and rope was pre-tied and pre-atached to the tarp, then I just twist it around my poles and set it up.
My setup isnt that lighter than a tent would be but I like the feel of it.
