>>428884>Me again. The alocs burner has started leaking already and in comparison to a tuna can (or similar) burner, seems to go through fuel like nobodys business. So does the Trangia. You either dilute the alcohol with water down to about 80% or you use the simmer ring.
>I'm sticking with the tuna can burner I made.Yeah, no reason to get a Trangia if that works for you.
>My advise, stay away from from chinese alcohol burners. Make a cat food/tuna can stove and/or save for a trangia if you must use alcohol burners. The only selling point for a Trangia is the fact that you can close in any residual alcohol. I don't have experience with Trangia knockoffs.
Brotip: If you have a Trangia (or clone), snuff the flame with the simmer ring, not the cap with the rubber seal. Then let the cooker cool down COMPLETELY before you close it.
The rubber seal will harden after a few times if it gets hot, then it will leak.
>>429005You don't get /out/ much, do you? The volume of you pack is of no consequence, it's the wheight he should monitor. 50l pack for three days is perfectly reasonable.
>>429011Agreed.
>>430021I see, didn't know. Do you have a polish messkit? Would it fit?
