Last night I had a bad feeling, sprung awake at like 3am, and immediately went online and bought a box of snail pellets to pickup after work today. Couldn't have been a day later, this morning my punkins and watermelon were both finally sprouting up through the soil and there's like 4 days of rain ahead. The snail army is amassing somewhere under the leaves, the board is set, the pieces are moving.
Got to Bunnings and the guy was like "holy shit how'd you manage to get yourself a box? We've been out of this shit for days." Sure enough, last box.
My seedlings are protected. Due to rain tonight, I head their little battle drums beginning to thump out there. Will post results in the morning.
