Most people think that Iowa is a druggy central but in reality has the third lowest rate of any drug overdose including meth, fentanyl, etc. Weird to think right, our opioid addiction rate is also incredibly low by US standards too alongside South Dakota and Nebraska. Being an extremely boring state is amazing in this sense oddly because no homeless drug addicts come here because it's cold as fuck in the winter, hot as fuck in the summer, there is almost no scenery, drug usage is giga banned, and our states tell the homeless to fuck off when they try to invade our parks so they end up moving on to warmer more hospitable states. The big drug we use here, almost as much as Wisconsin, is alcohol.
