>>1174201I see. I was thinking more of plugs like daiwa sp or popper and such and the big ones used for stripers and blues can easily reach over 1.5 oz and sometimes over 2 . Those are basically cast and retrieve quickly. I wouldn’t be comfortable with using those unless my rod is rated up to the weight of the lure.
