We fish for bonita, gag grouper and fish for snapper in the same area at the same time every year.

Those fish there are related to the species we catch offshore, so we stay with what we know and try to catch as much as the boat can handle.

Flat bottomed boats can't go for extended times without being repaired and are longer when wet in colder climates, although mine is an aluminum boat that can be repaired pretty easy.
