Any bug bros here? I'm trying to incorporate red wigglers (RW) and black soldier fly larva (BSFL) into my composting system, since they speed things up and make great garden supplements on their own, and make good chicken snacks too. My question is, do these guys work in parallel with a compost pile, or completely replace it? i.e, do I basically turn my compost pile into both a red wiggler (RW) and BSFL farm, or do I run compost still in addition? From what I can tell, RW + BSFL can eat just about anything you throw at them, including chicken poop.
