This will pretty easily risk doxxing myself so I won't go over everything I carry.
My main survival kit is in a repurposed ar15 mag holder from MidwayUSA. It fits perfectly across the bottom of my suitcase. Food wise nside I keep 5 MCW MRE's, Rapid Pure water filtering bottle, 40 Katadyn tabs, Nuun caffinated electrolyte tabs.
Small booboo kit and first aid med refills, pen and sample Write-in-the-Rain notebook, Gerber Suspension multitool. I am often in the southwest US so I keep a blacklight flashlight to find scorps or use as a low signature flashlight. Inside the waterbottle I keep a ferro rod, emergency blanket, and mosquito net. I'm not a big fan of rapidpure filters but this bottle is easily to disassemble from both ends to clean and shove shit in there so it is what it is. Space is valuable.
Couple of things here that I bring that a lot of people might over look is a pair of wool glove liners. Gotta keep your hands warm. The other thing is a rifle sling. The sling is great to bring because it can attach to the carrying bag to use a strap, of if shit really went sideways and I somehow came into the possession of a rifle, it would be nice to not have to carry it in hand all the time. Something not pictured here because its usually kept in my carry on is a solar charging usb powercell.
