>>2516975Very nice man. And technically speaking you're not producing 230V so it's even legal. I know from polish YT they're popular in here.
I will definitely get one of those one of the first things I get my own house. And definitely not building it in rented flat on ground level
>Not fancy looking or very portableThat's exactly what I was talking about, picrel
>Dont really have much faith in my ability to crank the generatorIs it viable way to charge all your devices? Hell no. Can it charge your phone in 5 minutes of cranking enough to make emergency phonecall? Definitely. I made three 15 minute tests, got 5% of battery on 5000mah phone. Bottom line is: you have radio in your phone. If you're about to get handcrank radio which everybody recommends you can just get K-TOR in the same weight (and paying twice the price or so). It's nice to know you have power even sitting in a basement for weeks like Ukrainians did recently. Hand crank radios seems useful because it's both flashlight and radio but in reality none of them has enough output to charge any phone made after 2002 even if the manufacturer says so. Would I get weather radio if we had NOAA like americans have? Still no, there's android app for that as well. We were actually suppose to have the same functionality in RDS but radio stations blew it not broadcasting properly
