The trashy neighbor's left out trash, so, skunks be around.
They've been here for a few years/couple generations and my favorites of the bunch are still around. The two I favor most are the ones with diamond patterns. One is black and white but the other one is inverted with a lot of shades of silver, grey and white.
This family has their babies under my deck but the entrance is too small so they must have a secondary home elsewhere when their babies get bigger.
The skunks have never had an interaction with me more negative than a bit of baby talking and telling them that they're gorgeous so they're pretty comfortable around me and my property. I could probably do without them since they like to trample my flower bed but we have a repertoire.
Girlfriend let the siameiser out after it, another neighbor kitten joined in the stalk. They all hung out a bit and the cat came back smelling fine so I guess they were all friendly with each other. I'll take pictures next time, as I'm sure there will be a next time as my neighbors are practically trash incarnate so if I don't see them again tomorrow it will be the next night
