I caught my first nice fish on the fly rod yesterday and was pretty pumped (this is the only pic I have). Had a hard time though because I couldn't get my flies deep enough. My split shot kept sliding all the way down. Eventually I tied a knot to stop this but then the line broke at the knot. What's the best way to prevent a shot sliding down?
