Beyond that, actually being able to feed yourself alone is a monumental task in the wild. It is doable, but you really and I mean you REALLY need to know literally everything about what you can eat, when it grows, how to find it, how to ID it, how to harvest/kill it, how to prep/butcher it, how to preserve it for later, how to cook it, and so on. It isn't just about killing a deer and eating some nuts. Food from hunting and gathering without farming and without anyone else to help you will be your biggest challenge and it can kill you. Everything else is super simple in comparison. I can't stress this enough. You also need to know a great deal about complete nutrition. Because there won't be any conveniently fortified foods from the store in the wild. You'll need to know what is in the food you eat and how to match up nutrients in order to stay healthy. One thing like getting enough sodium in your diet may prove to be too difficult for you. It really depends on where you are in the world when you try to do this.
