I live in the Netherlands and my family has (and currently) owns several ridgebacks. Short haired dogs simply dont have the coat to comfortably deal with inclement weather. Our ridgebacks always wear a dog coat in autumn/winter, it really helps them deal with colder weather by keeping their core temp up. It won't turn them into huskis, but every little bit helps. would recommend/10.
on that note, i really need to get a new gf so i can finally start a family and get a doggo of my own. being a corporate lawyer stuck at the office all day doesn't really allow that atm.
