OP, you would be better off humping in your cabin piece by piece from the road or better yet, hump in a pre fabricated hut and clear out a nice area to live in for the summers while you build a real cabin. You will need a chainsaw or a bow saw at minimum. Keep humping in shit every time you go out, you will definitely need to slash a foot trail. You should grab a gps and make sure you are doing point a to b thing. You just don't march into the bush and build a cabin, you will be marching out real quick.
