I bring chillies to wear at night, a fleece and a wool sweater, rain jacket, hat , gloves, and extra socks.
The extra layer between you and the groundfor sleeping is really important. If you don't have a thick sleeping pad, bulk it up or get a new one because that will drain your body temp real fast and you'll have a shitty nights sleep.
As for sleeping bags, I have two (just a new and an old) both rated around 20-30, and I layer them and am fine. I've also simply brought an extra a quilt to put over my bag and been okay.
I love winter camping though, and def recommend going for it. It is so secluded, and nothing like a fire in deep snow, it's just great.
