Or with a lot of money, 80/20 extrusion would be pretty sweet.
Popup is doable, but personally I'd go with a smaller/lightweight enclosed if you're going to go the DIY route. Lots of people in the moto/snowmobile world have done this. Even a few van and school-bus conversions.

It was a basic enclosed snowmobile trailer to begin with; I just "fluffed it up" a bit so it's more conducive to spending the night in. It's still primarily a sled hauler, but I've insulated, rewired, and added a furnace/battery/charger to it.
In the summer, it's nice to have the extra storage space.
