Soaps/Gels
Face washes/exfoliators
Suncream
Sponges (unless stated as natural)
Canned foods/canned beverages all have a plastic lining
Homecanning lids that are metal will have a plastic linning on the food side; "plastisol" (the glass lids used with zinc rings and rubber seals don't, but the rubber has nitrile, neoprene and polyurethane plastics unless stated as "natural rubber only")
Chewing gum
Salt (most commercial salt comes from sea salt and of course if it is advertised as sea salt then you know 100%; all of those contain a nice soup of microplastics now, get pink Himalayan salt or mined salts like from Utah/"Real Salt" brand. Though, Real Salt brand often has sand in it, lol)
Cigarettes
PLA biodegradable packaging (plastic made from corn or similar)
Composite lumber (synthetic resins that bind them; MDF, OSB, plywood, etc) "The average 500-square foot composite Trex deck contains 140,000 recycled plastic bags."
Wet wipes
Sales receipts
Basically, if you have synthetic clothing you are washing microplastics out of it every time you wash it. Every time you pad or fluff the clothing you end up breathing it in. All those colorful beads in various health care products from the soap gels to the toothpaste are plastic beads. And, the chewing gum itself is fully plastic unless otherwise stated.
