I've used or at least had on myself the E12 everyday for the past three months. It takes a single double A. For 130 lumens at max setting I think it's pretty good. Especially at $30. It has 3 settings: Low (8 Lumens) Medium (50 Lumens) and High (130 Lumens). Because its so small I always carry it. It's beam is wide and on the highest setting it illuminates pretty far. Waterproof up to 2M. Only test of that I have would be accidentally dropping it into the toilet. Love it
