Snuck up to the river for a couple hours today. Went 2-3 on hook ups. The bigger leader and tippet made the difference. After fighting pic related in a strong current for 20+ mins I went home. There were more out of state license plates in the parking lot than there were NY plates. I saw New Jersey, Michigan, Ohio, Maryland, Pennsylvania, Texas, Virginia, Vermont, New Hampshire, and probably some more but I didn’t really look around. I now know why everyone absolutly hates out of towners.
