>>1626646How often do you have to spray them with water? If you find they're drying out too fast, you can cure them in a cardboard box. Just have to move them around every now and then, let the air get to them. Speeds up the process too, since the leaves emit ethylene while curing, and the box keeps it from dissipating too fast. I suspect you could throw a banana in with the leaves to increase the concentration of ethylene, so long as you monitor the humidity levels.
I work away from home every other week, so I had to take a ripe leaf with me to cure in a ziploc bag. Tried hanging the first ripe leaves on strings and spraying, but it's so dry here I had to do it every 6 hours just to maintain humidity. When I get back, a few more leaves should be ready to harvest and I'll do the box technique.
