>>1121696>pipesIf you want to go a little fancier or just different than the OP suggestions, try a Missouri Meerschaum Cobbit or maybe a Baraccini or something in similar price range. But I started with briar and only recently bought my Cobbit (a cob churchwarden pipe) and I have to say they are much more beginner friendly.
>TobaccosA lot will recommend Frog Morton but also consider other brands. I suggest looking online for best selection. Do you want to try an all natural tobacco, or do you want it to be flavored like something?
In pic related, the left side are English and Balkan blends. Smokey, full flavor, even spicey. Think camp fire, incense, roasted meat.
In the middle are two aromatics which are lightly flavored (haven't tried them yet) and frog morton cellar, which has a 'top note' of whiskey and is otherwise very smooth and easy to smoke but some don't like it.
On the right are two pressed Virginia tobaccos. These are good, smooth, mellow smokes. The dunhill flake is somewhat sweet, almost like cream, but also has a nutty toasty profile. The navy rolls have a spicier tobacco, perique, added for flavor.
Most people I don't think like the Balkan or full English tobaccos, but I took to them immediately.
>Anon is a dunhill where! Not really, but it was my first tobacco I bought and I stocked up since they might be shutting down, just working through my supply.
