>>2609180Is it really? You'd have to post in very bad faith to say that. There's loads of /out/ shit you can do in Alps and even within Western Europe. Fantastic places to kayak, hike, snorkel, dive, mountaineer and climb. Sure most European states have much higher population densities than most average American states, but you'd have to argue from pure emotion to say Europe is garbage for /out. And even if one was to say he is from Netherlands, they can always take a flight to Romania or Finland is less than three hours. That's comparable to driving your car away from American metropolises or taking a domestic flight. In most cases travel times are nowhere near as extreme. Pic related, within Val Grande. That is Cicogna, a village with less than one hundred permanent visitors. To reach it from Milan you'd take a train from Milan which takes less than two hours. To hike up to Cicogna from there it takes probably one and half hours. There are several trails, some maintained, some almost completely overgrown, well before Cicogna so you could skip it. If coming by car you can drive up to Cicogna and start various routes from there. Up here you can sleep anywhere. If you were to start a small fire it would be hard to spot, although I'd avoid it in middle of the summer. There's loads of forest and places to go off the trails. It's not the same as driving into Finland and having kilometres of completely undeveloped nature, but this is nowhere how bad you say it is. In fact most would argue it is great because it is easy to access and there's plethora of several /out/ activities you can do out there besides bush craft larping with huge bonfires. On top of it I'd like to remind how versatile the nature is. You get boreal forests in northern Europe, several alpine ranges, Med climate, semi deserts, sand dunes, etc. France and Spain alone has fuckloads of biomes and outside of major cities the country is underdeveloped. Eastern Europe is very wild and unregulated in parts.
