>>1771051>>1771140>>1773310>>1773518OP here, reporting back. Made it in and out of 3 separate mines safely. The first was a large copper mine. The 2nd and 3rd were both gold mines. The gold mine did have some falls, but for the most part the shaft was very stable.
Have to say, best decision I've made in a long time. Being hundreds of feet underground is one of the weirdest feelings. Killing the lights it's like the darkness is so thick it becomes palpable. Definitely a rush.

Pic related was as far as we could go in the first mine shaft posted in the OP. This was at about a 50 degree incline towards the ladder. No way we were going to test that thing.
