It's really fucking stupid that they put goretex on everything. It takes forever to dry if it gets wet from the inside and prevents sweat form vaporizing fast enough.
Fuck walking without ankle support in a rocky forest. Every step you take is a balancing act because there are no even surfaces at all. I've also had more than a few occasions where my foot slips trough the forest floor into a pit between rocks and I eat shit with my rucksack on. I would be a screaming and crying mess with a broken leg somewhere if it weren't for that.
