>>1974983I suggest thinking about a 2 person tent, since then you actually have proper room for all your gear as well and you don't have to be cramped, especially it it rains outside and you want to stow away all of your kit. There is also the benefit of possibly taking someone /out/ with you, even if they don't have a tent of their own. I currently use this Vaude Arco 2P. Admittedly, it isn't very cheap or lightweight, however it is just big enough for me, my gear and my dog, with a tiny bit of room left to move around inside. You can fit two people inside it as well, however with all the gear there will be almost no space left to move about.
