>>172358If you're looking for something older than '90, go for something like a '85 4runner. It was the only year that had a Solid front axle and a EFI engine. One of the best years IMO, but hard to find one in good shape. 84-89 4runners are all good though.
As for Jeeps, you can't really go wrong, they're great offroad, and there's retarded amounts of parts for them, but they tend to be alot worse on gas. If you can drive a stick well, def. get a manual.
I'd say toyota, but i'm pretty biased on that, as you can see by pic related, lol (Both my 4runners, first gen and second gen)
