>>573456My wife went with me on a couple of backpack trips before we got hitched, but as soon as we were married, she expressed no more interest in "sleeping on the ground" and dealing with insects. Or whatever. Now all my /out/ adventures are solo, and I like it that way.
When Colin Fletcher hiked the east side of California from Mexico to Oregon in 1958 (read his book "The Thousand Mile Summer") he was driven to the start of the hike by his girlfriend, and he was going to decide whether or not he was going to get married while on the trip. He came to the conclusion that he didn't want anything to do with that sort of relationship, and was a bachelor the rest of his life. We find this out in his last book, "River."
> They are girls. They are fundamentally different.Exactly. And the only reason we find them attractive is because it is our animal instinct taking over. A man cannot look at a women without thinking about what kind of fuck she would be. It's in our genes. It goes back to before the stone age. It cripples us when we try to think about just avoiding them altogether.
My advice, OP, is to stick to your /out/ pursuits, and fap whenever you feel the need. You're still a young kid, and the right one will come along, but not while you are looking for one. If I could do it all over again, knowing what I know now, I'd never even look at a woman again, ever.
