Was experimenting with some exotic (for my area) plants, and among others tried to grow pomegrenades from seed.
Now I bought a fruit two months ago, ate most of it (really tasty but "eating" by sucking on the seeds is kinda inconvenient), put 6 seeds into a "growing box" but nothing has happened since then, but I also put some randomly in the garden into pots of other plants.
After almost forgetting about the latter ones, I checked one of those closer a week ago, and something sprouted! But I don't know if it's actually from one of those seeds. I replanted it into a separate pot, and it grew a lot in the last week (pic related).
So I need to know if it's actually a pomegrenade or just some weed (checked garden + surroundings for similar looking plants/weeds, found none, also the leaves look very similar to what I can find on the net. They're not as leathery as I can see on online pics though, but maybe that's because the plant is still young?)
Could it be one or am I just wasting my time? Or is a classification impossible at this point?
