>>2188897>Nevertheless, you should kill all squirrels on sight.>not feeding them in the literal center of a part of your garden to distract them from eating your plantsWatched one touch his teeth and nose to my tomato, though, kek. It thought about eating/chewing a lot of things from what I could see, but it didn't for some reason. I haven't had one eat my garden plants in a while come to think of it, oddly. Once I move to a nicer location innawoods, though, some are going in the frying pan.
Apologies for the shitty quality, but it's my only in garden squirrel picture I have. This one pissed on my feeding spot (scent marking), which I've never seen happen before, but it's a common behavior and was bound to happen sooner or later.
>>2189229I shoot them with a Daisy Red Ryder. Wrap a short section of plastic bendy straw (the white kind with the colored vertical stripes) in one layer of electrical tape, then shove it in the "barrel" so you can get a visual of where the BBs will come from. Then cock it and use that as a guide as to where your BB will go. Morning to noon is best IIRC. You will need to go out every day but you can kill many. Sometimes they won't die and will be flung, sometimes they splatter all over. Getting two from below a leaf as they're mating is the most efficient IMO. You can also shoot at them across the vine in a way that you're not going to hi the plant. Be careful of ricochets. You can also knock them into a water bottle with two inches of 70-99% isopropyl alcohol and they'll die. You can also use dawn soap in water IIRC, but they might not die as quickly whereas alcohol is near instant.
>>2189270They may be wild grape and edible. Do some research; certain pests like the wild grapes more than garden grown even if they're from a completely different region than the wild varieties. At least that's what I've encountered; the invasive bugs like my wild grapes.
