Also with the heaviest knife I own is pic related and it's got a 1/4 in spine but it is only 4 1/2 inches long I don't want to do batonin because I know from experience that is generally how you unnecessarily damage your knife. But what do you think is better for a knife.
Rifle and side arms can switch between a Ruger mk 3. For a rifle I like to carry a sako L691 7mm rem mag with a Leopold 3.5-16×40 and that is really only if I'm hunting larger game but sometimes I have to carry it here because of the bear threat and mountian lions of which I have a few run ins with and I know they can get pretty damn bad. But if it's smaller game I like to carry a 870 wingmaster full choke.
