So when my friendly neighbor from the north made a thread here asking about them, I figured I'd offer him what I know about them because I didn't figure anyone else here would know. And I was correct. Price wasn't even part of the discussion until 10 posts in. If OP gave a shit he probably would have asked. His questions were specific and detailed. Simply put I would recommend these to anyone who has such a demanding job like wildland firefighting or farming/ranching. Call me gay for them if you like, to hell with the price. It's just money; money comes and goes. For me, they've actually saved me cash over the years on the several pair of $100+ "good" boots I would have otherwise needed. That's what I know, that's my experience.
