>>2176666I am working on rehabbing my dad's 70's 14 foot aluminum. Bought a brand new 20hp for it I have been saving up to buy and have been slowly but surely getting it and the trailer ready to go. All that is really left is reseating the struts into the wood bench seats that have stripped out and replacing the swivel seats. Damn excited to get it in the water. The only real problem I have run into is the fucking trailer registration. My old state didn't do titles or yearly registration and my current state requires some kind of documentation which I just don't have since it's a 25 year old trailer. Even worse, I called my old state and the fucking VIN on the trailer doesn't match the VIN on the registration because some dipshit on the lot mixed up some paperwork and/or gave my dad the wrong trailer. So I've been playing telephone between both state's DMV and my current state's police department to figure out what the fuck I can do. At this point, I am thinking I might just use it and if I get a ticket then so be it.
