How 2 get the cactus globes to root? Had good luck with the aloe babies, lucky bamboo is like 50/50, then I found a big crown of thorns plant and cut off 3 little pieces in attempts to clone them and the 2 smaller ones died after a month or so, the 3rd is still green but not sure if it will keep growing or eventually die.
Anyway I ripped off two of the little globes from the darker green cactus, maybe a week or two ago. Seems odd to me because I just set them on the soil and never really plant them. I have just been trying to water them every other day to keep the soil pretty moist, but no roots at all yet. Should I bury it halfway? Any extra steps I should be taking? I heard to dry them overnight in a paper bag when cloning plants, didn’t do that with these ones as it didn’t seem to make a big difference with previous clones.
