We adopted this beagle last week. I worry she is too old to train not sure. She listens well when I have treats but otherwise has to be patted on the butt and also told sit in order to do it most times.. with treats I can usually get her to sit and stay at least a while. Plays fetch well. Rarely comes when called unless I have a treat.
Today at my aunt's farm I held her while my cousin would drag them hide a raccoon skin which she always found at impressive distances.
Any tips?
